These five cool little guys represent a whole lot of work once again. They look so innocent and simple... At times, I thought I would never finish them. Believe me, I tested a lot of things for you to put this set together. That’s why I’m especially proud of my new little buddies now, and with the pattern, you can start knotting away without a worry. You can easily "snack" on these five Ice Cream Minis in between tasks, and then it's right back to the pool or the freezer... Transform useless yarn scraps into delicious ice cream appliques – also perfect as a garland or loving decoration. The Ice Cream Minis can decorate clothing, gift wrapping, or cards. Ice cream is a timeless decorative classic for birthdays, summer parties, and many other celebrations.
The pattern contains 5 ice cream designs (Scoops in a Cone, Scoops in a Cup, Chocolate Ice Cream Bar, Fruity Ice Cream Bar, Watermelon Slice) as fully detailed, colored diagrams, along with shorthand notation.

Required Techniques: Simple rings, split rings, chains, picots and joins, core-thread-hiding loops (explained in the pattern).

The five Ice Cream Minis are great little projects for in-between, even for beginners. Thanks to the core-thread-hiding technique, the many colorful yarn ends disappear invisibly as you go. The technique is described in detail with pictures in this pattern. The complete set can be made using only five different colors. Alternatively, you can choose the colors of your favorite flavors.
