Meet Curved Baby Blanket Lorenz. Due to its special shape it fits baby’s body cozily. Wrap it around baby’s legs and feet in the pram or the infant car seat. The yarn’s cotton percentage lends a nice weight to the blanket so it won’t easily move around. Our children still use the blanket for their dolls. It can be used as a shawl or warming headscarf for adults as well. This makes it a sustainable ac- cessory for the whole family.
Skills you need: Knit and purl, increases from the strand between stitches, elastic bind off. Tip regarding choosing colors: Babies like saturated colors. Their ability to see colors develops gradually. Therefore, they don’t care much for pastel colors.
The blanket is worked in one piece, starting at the tip. It has 10 stocki- nette stripes on a seed stitch ground. The increases are made along the stripes at the center of the blanket. The blanket is finished with a ripped band.
