You will find this pattern in my Etsy Shop.
Someone is no longer here. You feel grief... and so much more.
Everyone has their own way of dealing with these emotions. I invite you to crochet a special envelope and, in doing so, process your grief.
If you feel ready, take your crochet hook. In the steady rhythm of the Tunisian Simple Stitch, you can allow all your thoughts and feelings, endure them, organize them... You pick up the stitches and let them go again. You simply feel everything and let go once more.
If it becomes too much, put your work aside. You can resume at any time. There is no rush.
If you like, use a piece of clothing belonging to the person you lost as the inner lining.
Inside the finished envelope, you can keep a letter, photos, or other memories. Take it out whenever you want to remember. Close it and put it away when you need a break.

Required Techniques: chain stitches, single crochet, Tunisian Simple Stitch, Tunisian decreases, Tunisian bind-off, backstitch / hand-sewing.
Note: This pattern is a creative tool for personal grief processing. It does not replace psychological counseling, therapy, or medical treatment. If you feel persistently and heavily burdened emotionally, please reach out to professional support services.
